Angel Olsen
Angel Olsen was born in St. Louis Missouri and now resides in Asheville, North Carolina. To date Olsen has released six studio albums: Half Way Home Burn Your Fire for No Witness My Woman All Mirrors, Whole New Mess, and Big Time. My mother is so good with children. On her parents, whom she adopted when she was three and took care of her right from the birth of her daughter] Since there are so many decades of difference between us I became more interested in how their lives were during childhood. My fantasy was more about having a young life in the 1930s or '50s than that of other children that were my age. Life in the private. Olsen was the first to be publicly declared homosexual on the 16th of April 2021. Olsen announced in 2022 that Adele Thibodeaux, her partner for five years, had ended the partnership and that she had been with long-time musician and friend Meg Duffy since 2020. Olsen made it public via social media that she was queer at the beginning of 2021. Olsen lived in St. Louis Missouri and started singing in cafes in her teens. Soon she tapped into a large network of similar musicians. Following her move to Chicago in 2006. She worked as a member of Emmett's Cairo Gang, a collective that was led by Californian Emmett. Her previous album All Mirrors from 2019 featured the dark, almost gothic sound of synth-rock as well as affecting forays to the orchestral genre of pop. In Big Time the first album that Olsen sings consciously about queer desire she turns into a genre with a strong tradition: country. This seems to make sense.
